3D-solo is a dance spectacle created from 3 different instructives (of space, movement and action), that composes the choreography. 3 dancers participates in this piece. who with concrete actions composed and articulated with audiovisual materials, sounds and objects, in different styles of dance, are challenged to hold an honest experience that will invite the audience to a close vinculation and to construct the meaning of the play. The piece consist in 3 "non dance solos",in a high physical dificulty and technical precision, that leads the interpreters to a total exposure state in the scene. The "non solos" aim to generate a situation live, where there is an active exchange with the audience. there are style elements in the direction that conforms the spectacle, wich are irony, humor, affections, generosity and vulnerability in the sharing with the audience and the own interpreter experience, centering the conceptual axis in the body as an evidence and the game between the deepness or superficiality of ideas.

BORN TO BE EXPOSED

Works as a reality device, in which the artist Valenzuela Valdés (Chile), lives inside of an art gallery where he generates and performs actions and television shows that are transmitted online, live or edited. The actions are performed at different daytimes (AM–PM) and conclude with a final performance called “born to be exposed”. This final performance is planned and prepared from all the exposure process, has a minimum duration of 4 days including the final performance and a maximum duration of 10 days. The final objective is to obtain a result affected by several factors:

The coexistence with the artists-roommates

The trace of the parallel process

The context, the place of exhibition and its environment

The Actions to be performed have a common strategy: the exhibitionism of the artist as the engine on the action, wich development will be unveiled in the process of creation, and the involvement of the contextual factors. The references of the process “born to be exposed” are reality shows like: Real World, My BFF, Shot of love (MTV), Extreme makeover (P&A), and exhibitionist fiction films as The raspberry reich (Bruce Labruce), Richard Kern, John Waters, and also the humor of Juana Molina in her show “Juana y sus hermanas” and Gladys.

About the performance, there are references, quotes, and tributes to the works of Mariana Abramovic, Vito Acconci, La Ribot and Bob Flanagan.

Zur Schau geboren

"Zur Schau geboren" funktioniert als eine künstliche Realität, wo der Künstler Sergio Valenzuela Valdés (Chile) in den Raum einer Kunstgalerie wohnt. Aktionen und Fernsehprogrammen werden erzeugt und geführt, die live oder durch das Internet projiziert bzw. übertragen werden. Die Aktionen werden zu verschiedenen Zeitpunkten durchgeführt (AM oder PM) und im Nachhinein mit einer Performance namens „Zur Schau geboren“ geplant und gebaut von den gesamten Prozess der Ausstellung anzuzeigen.

Die Performance hat eine Mindestlaufzeit von 4 Tagen eine Maximallaufzeit von 10 Tagen.

Das ultimative Ziel ist es, ein Ergebnis von mehreren Faktoren die sich gegenseitlich beeinflüssen zu bekommen:

1. Mit anderen Künstlern mitzuwohnen.

2. Die Spuren der parallelen Prozesse zu sammeln.

3. Der Ort und ihr Umfeld im Kontext zu verarbeiten.

Die Aktionen haben eine gemeinsame Strategie und haben das Exhibitionismus des Künstlers als Ausgangspunkt. Die Entwicklung wird sich im Prozess der Erstellung und die Wirkung von Kontextfaktoren ergben. Die Referenzen in den Prozess "Zur Schau geboren" sind amerikanische Reality-Shows wie „Real World“, „My BFF“, „Shot of Love“ (MTV), Extreme Makeover (P&A) und exhibitionistische Fiktionen wie der Arbeit von Regisseuren wie Bruce LaBruce mit „The Raspberry Reich“, Richard Kern, John Waters, so auch das argentinischen Humorfernsehprogramm „Juana und ihre Schwestern“ von der Künstlerin Juana Molina.

In Bezug auf die Performance gibt es Hinweise oder Zitaten und Hommagen an der Arbeit von Marina Abramovic, Vito Acconci, La Ribot und Bob Flanagan.

Performance that proposes a exhibitionist look about the chilean identity in tension with the artist’s own, mixing the private with the public. Inside his own biography shows the lack of attachment to things, objects, neighborhoods, among others; Playing with the limits between the superficial and deep, between ideas and humor, the vulnerability and conditioning of social behavior.

Performance die ein exhibitionistischen Blick über die chilenische Identität in Spannung mit der Identität des Künstler wirft und wo das Private und Öffentliche vermischt werden.

Innerhalb seiner eigenen Biografie zeigt die Ablösung von materiellen Dinge, Objekte, Nachbarschaften, unter anderem. Es ist ein Spiel mit den Grenzen zwischen Oberfläche und Tiefe, zwischen Ideen und Humor, zwischen Verletzlichkeit und Konditionierung von Sozialverhalten.

THIS ISN'T A CLASSIC (60 min.)

Actions constructed from fragments of letters written by the artist to different people in his life, assembled through a variety of formats: video, audio and text. The proposal goes exhibiting different layers of a fictitious body. The planned actions are sorted in real time according to the relationship that is established with the public. Texts in different languages (english, french, german, hebrew, Spanish), together with the live actions and the videos, they arm and disarm a random unit, leaving trace of the impossibility of telling a story from beginning to end.

DIES IST KEIN CLASSIC

Fragmente von Briefen des Künstlers an unterschiedliche Menschen seines Lebens dienen als Ausgangspunkt für Aktionen, die durch eine Vielzahl von Formaten (Video, Audio und Text) zusammengestellt werden. Der Vorschlag ist verschiedene Schichten eines fiktiven Körpers darzustellen. Die Aktionen werden in Echtzeit sortiert und in Beziehung mit der Öffentlichkeit etabliert. Texte in verschiedenen Sprachen (Englisch, Französisch, Deutsch, Hebräisch, Spanisch),zusammen mit den Live-Aktionen und Videos, bauen eine zufällige Einheit auf und ab, die verhindert die Möglichkeit eine Geschichte vom Anfang bis zum Ende zu erzählen.

AFFECTION (60 min.)

The work focuses in the physical affectation to which

a male body (the artist own) is subjected, through this it attempts to change the emotional state of the audience and cause them different physical sensations. Ridiculous, demeaning, vulgar and false actions, that they are dressed, undressed or transvestite through a particular objects selection to achieve a contrasted visual articulation (tuxedo and wigs, skirts and shoes, buckets and street cone, ribbons and chocolate). The presentation includes a guest performer for each session.

Affekt

Die Arbeit konzentriert sich in der physischen Affektiertheit, an der ein männlicher Körper (der Künstler selbst) ausgesetzt wird. Dadurch wird es versucht, den emotionalen Zustand des Publikums zu ändern und sie mit unterschiedliche körperliche Empfindungen zu veranlassen. Lächerliche, erniedrigende, vulgäre und falsche Aktionen werden durch einen bestimmten Objektauswahl (ein Smoking und Perücken, Röcke und Schuhe, ein Eimer und ein Straßenkegel, Bänder und Schokolade) erreicht, um eine kontrastreichen visuellen Artikulation zu erschaffen.

In jede Präsentation wird ein Gast-Darsteller teilnehmen.

CALLEJERA VERSION. 45 min. aprox.

"Callejera Version" is a work of Contemporary Dance financed by Fondart 2006.

The interest of this project is centered in the crossing of a dramatic text to a choreography.
Cradle in "Callejera" text of Sergio Valenzuela Valdés who gained the Aid of National Dramatic art 2005 and who directed Paulina Urrutia for It shows National in UC Theatre, in November of the 2005.

This version has been a constant dramaturgical elimination to be able to be finally with the bodies.. This methodology we have denominated it: TO ERASE. We erased the text, to drain it, to drain it of the personages, the scenes, the emotions, we even drained the space and we remained single with the ground (roofs).
This is a work that only tries the emptiness to find the body.
Four bodies, about four men in a roof, that deal with and that was what we had left:

"Four men on the brink of madness a space, of its body, its sort".

The interpreters are Felipe Beltrán, Felipe Vargas, Eyal Meyer and Orlando Alfaro. Actors and dancers who will take to us to different states and different places with the same landscape from bottom: the city
